Today was taken up by an incredibly long drive 591 miles to Elko via Virginia City.
We set off incredibly early so we could arrive at Virginia City around lunch time. This worked out well and I ate an incredibly nice meatball sub. Sian seemed to find it incredibly funny to photograph this so I am sure evidence will be on her website shortly.
Of the 591 miles 298 of the miles were on one continuos piece of road so I snapped a few pics of the road and anything of interest that passed by.
Wow, that is a long drive. I don’t think I’ve ever driven a car that I could do that distance in without ending up in severe pain. Mind you, must be difficult for Sian to drive with that rock weighing down her hand 🙂
